Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Tempe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure efficient operation of automated assembly lines during 12-hour night shifts (Sun, Mon, Tue, Sat).

You will support shift operations, develop long-term preventive maintenance plans, and work with the team to improve process efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience troubleshooting manufacturing machinery.
• Familiarity with maintenance of automated assembly lines.
• Knowledge of SOPs and safety/quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pilot assembly line and bench top equipment.
• Assist shift lead in maintaining product quality through proper machine operation.
• Maintain spare parts inventory with current cataloging.
• Provide timely notification of maintenance issues and downtime.
• Review line history to improve line efficiencies and minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment log books with repair/adjustment records.
• Collaborate with shift leader and technicians at shift changes.
• Contribute to process improvement to reduce scrap and cycle times.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and comply with safety rules.
• Work overtime and irregular hours as needed; participate in post-offer screenings if required.
