Job summary

EMD Electronics in Tempe, Arizona is seeking an Operations Technician to join our manufacturing team on a 5PM-5AM rotating shift. You will operate packaging, testing, and manufacturing equipment, collect samples, and help maintain safety and quality across processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and experience in manufacturing or chemical production is preferred. Forklift experience and basic computer skills are a plus within a dynamic, growing organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or chemical production environment is preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Experience with automated systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate manufacturing equipment and complete plant routines per site processes.
• Collect in-process and finished product samples.
• Monitor production processes and report deviations.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist with training new staff.
