Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven automation, manufacturing, and shift supervision experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for automation systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a team of Automation Engineering Technicians and Automated Systems Technicians.
• Ensure efficient operation of automation equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify process improvements and implement changes.
• Troubleshoot automation equipment issues and implement timely solutions.
• Maintain records of equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices for operating automation equipment.
• Manage material replenishment to support continuous production and minimize interruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards for automation operations.
• Oversee daily operations of the designated production shift and schedule staff.
• Monitor production processes and quality to meet targets and standards.
• Conduct shift meetings and enforce safety procedures; promote continuous improvement.
