Job summary

Traditional Medicinals, Inc. seeks an Automation Engineering Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am) at our Rocky Mount, VA facility.

You will oversee, maintain, and optimize automated systems, lead a technical team, and uphold safety standards to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineering and production to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction, while ensuring accuracy of records in CMMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical automation cert is a plus.
Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting automation equipment is needed.
Knowledge of PLCs and automation controls desirable.
Ability to read manuals and schematics and troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor automation equipment to maintain production levels and quality.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Record equipment performance and maintenance tasks.
Assist in installing and calibrating new automation systems.
Collaborate with engineering/production to optimize processes and costs.
Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety teams.
Use CMMS/ERP/quality software to optimize production.
