Job summary

Traditional Medicinals, Inc. is seeking an Automation Systems Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am) to operate and maintain automated production systems in our Rocky Mount facility.

You will work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement in automation performance. The role requires reading technical manuals and schematics, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance while documenting equipment activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• At least 1 year operating and maintaining automated machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on automation systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
• Maintain records of equipment performance and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineering for process optimization.
• Replenish materials used by automation equipment to support production.
• Provide training and support on proper use of automation equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety teams.
• Utilize CMMS, Quality software, ERP to optimize production.
• Maintain compliance with GMP regulations and internal quality standards.
