Job summary

Traditional Medicinals, Inc. in Rocky Mount, VA, is seeking an Automation Systems Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am) to operate and maintain automated machinery in our manufacturing facility.

You will collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize processes and minimize downtime. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating and maintaining automated machinery.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Detail-oriented with strong safety focus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or coordinate repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and repairs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers on process improvements.
• Replenish materials used by automation equipment.
• Provide training and support to team members on equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety teams.
• Use CMMS, ERP, and QA software to optimize production.
• Maintain GMP compliance and quality standards.
