Job summary

MacLean-Fogg in Mooresville, NC is seeking a night-shift machinist to independently run and fine-tune automatic screw machines and related equipment. You will troubleshoot, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact specs while maintaining quality and throughput.

The role requires 2–5 years of machining experience, the ability to interpret work instructions, and strong measurement skills with gages and tools. This is an on-site position with 3rd shift hours from 9:45 PM to 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a comparable machining/production role.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Intermediate math with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and fine-tune automatic screw machines and other production equipment.
• Monitor part quality and ensure specifications are met.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Read and apply blueprints to verify setup and work.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
• Maintain 5S in the work area.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
