Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a CNC Operator for 2nd Shift at our Mooresville, NC facility. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust CNC equipment to support precision, productivity, and quality, using blueprints and gaging tools.

You will contribute to process improvements and mentor junior operators while following 5S and safety policies. The role offers on-site work with full-time hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar CNC operator role.
• Ability to troubleshoot and address complex equipment or process issues.
• Working knowledge of CNC operations and related processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and mechanical equipment to support productivity and quality.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, adjustments, and programming to address machine issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specs, and work instructions.
• Conduct quality-control checks using required gauging instruments.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies.
• Support continuous process improvements and mentor junior operators.
