Job summary

MacLean-Fogg in Mooresville, NC is seeking a CNC Operator responsible for operating and optimizing CNC machinery to achieve high productivity, precision, and quality. The role includes setup, programming, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior operators.

You will read blueprints, perform quality checks, document results, and uphold 5S and safety standards in a 3rd shift environment (9:45 PM – 6:00 AM).

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of CNC/operator experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems.
• Familiar with quality standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks on produced items.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Utilize required gaging instruments.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area according to 5S standards.
• Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
