Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring for a CNC Operator on the 3rd shift in Mooresville, NC. You will set up and run CNC/machine tools to meet quality and productivity goals, interpret blueprints, and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a comparable CNC role.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve complex machine/process issues.
• Working knowledge of CNC operations and manufacturing processes.
• Blueprint/spec interpretation capability.
• Intermediate math plus clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with required gaging instruments.
• Physical realities of the job.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Routinely lifting up to 50 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for small parts.
• Loud manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and mechanical equipment to hit quality and productivity goals.
• Make savvy adjustments, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform minor program edits when needed.
• Comfortably interpret prints, specs, and work instructions.

• Keep a clean, organized workstation aligned to 5S.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures without compromise.
