At MacLean-Fogg in Mooresville, NC, you’ll independently run and fine-tune automatic screw machines and other mechanical production equipment, solve problems on the fly, and keep quality and throughput on target.Role DetailsLocation: Mooresville, NCWork Arrangement: On-siteSchedule: 3rd Shift, 9:45 PM – 6:00 AMPay: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsEmployment Type: Full-time / HourlyWhat You’ll TackleRun assigned mechanical production equipment safely and efficiently.Keep a close eye on part quality; ensure outputs meet required specifications.Diagnose and correct operating issues with intermediate-to-advanced troubleshooting.Read and apply blueprints to set up and verify work as needed.Measure using required gages and instruments to confirm product requirements.Accurately complete production and quality records.Organize your area using 5S principles.Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures at all times.What You Bring2–5 years in a comparable machining/production role.Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal guidance.Intermediate math along with solid verbal and written communication.Hands-on skill with shop measurement tools and gaging.Proven capability to resolve complex equipment problems within role scope.Broad, practical knowledge of screw machine operation and related production work.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsEmployees in this role regularly work in a manufacturing environment and are required to stand for extended periods.
