Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a CNC Operator for 3rd shift at our Mooresville, NC manufacturing facility. In this role, you will independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC equipment to support precise, efficient production while contributing to process improvements and mentoring junior operators.

You will read blueprints and specifications, perform quality checks with gaging instruments, and document production activities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a CNC/operator role.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Accurate documentation and quality checks.
• Knowledge of 5S and safe manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and program to improve performance.
• Read blueprints and specifications.
• Perform quality inspections with gaging instruments.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S).
