Crosby’s Stores seeks a motivated Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations in Bradford, PA. You’ll support the Team Leader, manage staff, ensure a clean, welcoming environment, and deliver outstanding customer service while driving store success.

The role includes supervising team members, maintaining high standards, and handling daily tasks across customer experience, store operations, and payroll-related duties. Strong math, POS proficiency, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends
• Experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Serve Safe certified, preferred
• Proficient in basic math to handle cash transactions
• Ability to assess/verify customer identification
• Understand operating instructions for lottery and POS systems
• Exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items per quality and cleanliness standards
• Promote and assist customers with My Crosby’s Rewards enrollment
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations
• Supervise team members and assist with scheduling
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards
• Support merchandising, promotions, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with food safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company regulations
• Train, coach, and develop store associates
• Assist with cash handling, timekeeping, and payroll processes
• Monitor safety, opening/closing procedures, and equipment maintenance
