Job summary

Crosby’s Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations, support the Team Leader, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service and driving store success.

You’ll supervise team members, maintain high standards, and strive to provide a great customer experience every day. The position includes a shift differential for late-night hours and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends
• Valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Serve Safe certified, preferred
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and reports
• Ability to operate lottery/POS systems and other equipment
• Tolerance of exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and resolve issues when leadership is not present
• Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Train, coach, and support store associates
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining staffing levels
• Support inventory control, audits, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company regulations
