Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is seeking a Production Specialist I for the UD Fill - A2 Night Shift (7pm–7:30am, Sun–Tue and every other Sat). You will support setup, changeover, and packaging in a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation, emphasizing safety, quality, and teamwork.

The role requires aseptic gown certification, strong attention to consistency, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production targets while maintaining compliance with cGMP and site policies.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain aseptic gown certification.
• Demonstrated focus on quality and compliance with site policies.
• Ability to communicate issues to engineering and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Become aseptic gown certified and maintain certification.
• Adhere to aseptic practices and gowning procedures.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and use AbbVie tools to minimize contamination.
• Perform housekeeping and line clearances for multiple value streams.
• Assist in setting up automated packaging equipment.
• Operate and service automated and semi-automated equipment to produce finished product.
• Perform in-process checks and sample pulls during production.
• Maintain 6S standards for parts and tooling on the floor.
• Escalate safety, quality or operating issues to the appropriate groups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and align with production schedules.
