Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician for the MD Fill A2 Night Shift (6pm–6:30am, Sun–Tue and every other Sat) in Texas. The role focuses on preventive and demand maintenance, supporting senior technicians, and building a multi-craft foundation for advancement.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or related certificate with basic troubleshooting skills and familiarity with industrial tools. We offer a night-shift differential of 15% and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Experience setting up production/manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate; Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
