Job summary

Amick Farms is seeking an Area Manager-Night Shift for Maryland/Hurlock to lead the night operations, coach supervisors, and drive safety and productivity in a poultry processing environment.

You will ensure USDA/HACCP compliance, manage safety programs, analyze performance data, and collaborate with maintenance, QA, and sanitation to improve plant performance; growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of protein manufacturing processes, preferably in the poultry industry.
• Familiar with USDA guidelines, HACCP, SSOPs, and union contracts.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leaders while holding them accountable for performance, attendance, and operational results.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP program, GMPs, sanitation standards, and company food safety and quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment, enforce safety procedures, and address team member concerns and performance issues promptly.
• Identify operational challenges, analyze performance metrics, and implement corrective actions with Maintenance, QA, and Sanitation.
