Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking an Admission Treatment Advocate to welcome clients, coordinate admissions, and ensure a smooth transition into care. The role involves collaboration with the Intake team, safety checks, and transport of clients when needed.

Responsibilities include document handling, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting clinical teams. The position requires flexibility for evening shifts and potential overtime, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with EHR software preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret information; present to groups.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients into the treatment facility and assist in admissions.
• Collaborate with Nursing and Clinical staff for patient support.
• Encourage participation in group, individual, and family counseling.
• Enter accurate admission information and progress notes in the EHR.
• Ensure compliance with state standards, HIPAA, and AAC policies.
• Safely transport clients to and from the facility as assigned.
