Job summary

Pregis is seeking an Adhesive Mixing and Waste Processing Operator in Illinois. The role safely prepares adhesive batches, processes waste adhesives and inks, and supplies coating operations with the correct materials, following standard work practices and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality procedures, SOPs, proper setups, basic math and productivity requirements.
• Must know and understand computer operating procedures for production reporting.
• Experience: Maximum time to perform satisfactorily in the job is 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Mix adhesive components per coating schedule to ensure coaters do not wait for adhesive.
• Process waste adhesives and inks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain Standard Work Practices and follow quality procedures.
• Handle materials correctly to support coating operations.
