Job summary

Henkel is hiring a Chemical Operator in Elgin, IL, to support the Adhesive Technologies production line. You will operate mixing, blending, and packaging equipment, follow SOPs, and help maintain quality and safety throughout the shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical or manufacturing training. You’ll work 3rd shift, with overtime as needed, in a fast-paced environment and be part of a safety-driven team.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow SOPs and batch sheets precisely.
• Comfort working with chemicals and industrial gear.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing, blending, and packaging equipment.
• Follow SOPs, batch sheets and safety guidelines.
• Monitor processes and adjust for quality and consistency.
• Inspect equipment, perform cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain production, quality and safety documentation.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
