Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is hiring a Security Supervisor I for night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week). The role supervises a Security Department shift, ensuring safe operations in a designated site, and upholds NM policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include cross-team communication, shift readiness, and overseeing video and access control systems while supporting a culture of safety and learning for the team.

Formación

• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a variety of individuals.
• Writing skills to complete reports meeting standards.
• Physical ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates regularly with other shift leadership regarding security needs.
• Disseminates pertinent information to assigned Security team members.
• Identifies opportunities for safety and security improvements on their shift.
• Oversees campus Video Management and Access Control systems.
• Maintains knowledge of industry standards and trends in healthcare security.
• Completes shift records and pass downs.
• Collaborates with support services to maintain safe NM facilities.
• Builds and maintains team cohesiveness on their shift.
• Prioritizes security resources to support patient and staff safety.
• Leads investigations of incidents as needed.
• Mentors new security team members and coordinates training.
• Acts as a reference for shift associates and upholds department policies.
