Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Piedmont values and provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
• Screen for and interdiction of weapons entering the facility.
• Maintain security of hospital buildings and parking areas.
• Perform safety routines and emergency security activities.
• Document incidents and conduct initial investigations.
• Monitor at-risk patients and de-escalate difficult situations.
• Apply appropriate use of force when necessary to provide a safe environment.
• Document activities in the medical record and follow policies and laws.
