St. Luke’s in Boise, ID is seeking a Security Officer 2 to protect patients, visitors, staff and hospital property. This 10-hour night shift runs Friday and Saturday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with regular patrols, access control, and alarm response.

Under limited supervision, you will de-escalate tense situations, investigate incidents, and write detailed reports. Requirements include a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of relevant security experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years relevant security experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Makes periodic tours of premises to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Guards property against damage, fire, theft, trespassing and illegal entry.
• Controls access to health system facilities.
• May apply de-escalation tactics in high-risk situations to limit harm.
• Investigates incidents and maintains daily incident log.
• Writes detailed and complex incident reports; liaises with police as needed.
• Collects and secures weapons and illicit drugs per policy.
• Collaborates with care teams during evaluations to ensure safety.
• May screen visitors and issue passes when appropriate.
• Monitors parking and reports tickets/tows; provides data to leadership.
