Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Protection Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. This full-time overnight role is scheduled for 36 hours per week overnights, Thursday through Saturday, 7pm to 7am.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification at hire, and active driving privileges. Duties include security monitoring, visitor control, ID checks, inspections, and responding to emergencies to protect

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
Security or military experience preferred but not required.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification at hire.
Must have active driving privileges.

Mansioni

Maintain a secured environment in disasters, fires and/or bomb threats.
Interact daily with public regarding safety, visitor control, thefts, and security problems.
Confront strangers and direct them to proper areas or escort them off the medical center campus.
Conducts package inspection and checks property leaving the facility for proper authorization.
Report vulnerable situations, hazards, and/or equipment malfunctions to the proper department.
Check employee and service personnel for proper I.D.
May restrain a person with the amount of force necessary for protection of all persons involved.
Operate motor vehicle, two-way radio, camera, and electronic surveillance equipment and demonstrates basic computer skills.
