Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Security Officer 2 to join our safety team. This role supports patient, staff and visitor security, with 10-hour Friday and Saturday night shifts at the Boise work location.

You will patrol, respond to alarms, and collaborate with clinical staff to maintain a secure environment. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (fleet vehicle) required.

Responsibilities

• Under limited/moderate supervision, ensure safety of patients, visitors, staff and hospital property.
• Conduct periodic tours to secure doors, windows, and gates; control access to facilities.
• Respond to alarms and incidents, investigate, document, and report hazards.
• Coordinate with care teams for patient evaluations and manage parking oversight as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
