Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is seeking a Security Concierge in Boston, MA to provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services. The officer will maintain a visible presence, greet guests, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents with accurate reporting.

Position offers competitive hourly pay with benefits; schedule is Friday through Monday, 11:00pm–7:00am, and the hire type is Full-Time.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and neat and professional appearance.
• Write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Concierge services and customer-focused security for the facility.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and greet customers, staff and guests.
• Monitor the facility and entrances; control access and monitor alarms.
• Conduct required patrols; observe and report incidents and accidents.
• Prepare clear incident reports and assist with emergencies per procedures.
