Job summary

Metric Engineering is seeking Part-Time Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) Operators for the 9:45pm – 6:15am shift. The RTMC monitors ITS devices such as cameras and dynamic message signs to oversee the Central Florida roadways and provide traveler information.

Operators coordinate with partner agencies, dispatch Road Rangers, and work with advanced technologies including traffic signals and Connected Vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills and comfort with IT systems.
• Ability to work in a team, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass a Drug Screen and FBI Background check.
• Dispatch, customer service and first responder experience are a plus.
