Job summary

Metric Engineering seeks a part-time ITS Monitoring Specialist in Lake Worth, FL. The role supports FDOT District Four RTMC operations from the Lake Worth Regional Communications Center, focusing on traffic safety and congestion on SE Florida interstates.

You will monitor CCTV feeds and ITS devices, use SunGuide and related software for monitoring and reporting across multiple counties, and coordinate incident responses with FHP and RTMC.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred experience: Transportation Management Center or Communications Center dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV feeds and ITS devices to assist with detection of traffic incidents, disabled vehicles, congestion and other traffic related events.
• Utilize SunGuide and other software in support of monitoring and reporting on traffic on I-95 in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, Saint Lucie and Indian River Counties.
• Coordinate incident response activities with FHP and the FDOT District Four RTMC.
