Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; degree preferred.
• RN license; CPR certification if applicable.
• Minimum three years nursing experience, including one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of a nursing unit in a long-term care facility.
• Hire, discipline, and evaluate staff.
• Plan and facilitate resident care meetings and committees.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs within budget.
• Collaborate with physicians and ensure timely interventions.
• Oversee QA and staff development.
