Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking a registered nurse for Preop/PACU, offering after-hours shifts and overnight care. You will support preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding/recovery duties for a diverse surgical patient population.

The role emphasizes teamwork and high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This full-time night position runs 6:00pm–6:30am with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• BLS certification from an American Heart Association endorsed program required.
• PALS certification department dependent required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer date required.
• TNCC OR ATCN within one year or hire or transfer date department dependent required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic patient needs.
• Environment of care may be long term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural driven.
