Nebraska Medicine's Preop/PACU nursing team seeks an experienced RN to support preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding care for a diverse surgical population. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and specialty teams to coordinate safe, high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

This full-time role runs 6:00am–6:30pm with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, offering growth opportunities and comprehensive educational support within a leading

Formación

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility.
• Current Nebraska or compact state RN license required.
• BLS certification from an AHA endorsed program (effective for new hires starting Jan 1, 2023 or later).
• PALS certification required, department dependent.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer date, department dependent.
• TNCC or ATCN within one year of hire or transfer date, department dependent.

Responsabilidades

• Provide preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding/recovery care for surgical patients, including overnight stays.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multiple specialties to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Deliver holistic nursing care and adapt tasks to tailored patient needs in a fast-paced setting.
