Job summary

Halifax Health is seeking a Night shift Registered Nurse for the Post Surgical Med/Surg unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients, directing and coordinating care with LPNs, CNAs and unit staff to meet patient needs across age groups.

The role requires an active Florida RN license; a bachelor’s degree is preferred and orientation/compliance training must be completed. Strong communication, professionalism and teamwork are essential for delivering

Qualifications

• RN – Florida license required.
• Bachelor degree in nursing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication with patients, families and colleagues.
• Ability to coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Completion of orientation and unit-specific competencies.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to safety guidelines.
