Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Florida with current practice credential.
• Ability to perform nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Strong communication with patients, families and colleagues.
• Completion of unit/area orientation and competency checklists.
• Adherence to safety, ethics and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient on admission and monitor status throughout stay.
• Plan and coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs and unit staff.
• Initiate patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications per policy and document findings.
