The role requires Florida RN licensure, completion of orientation, and strong communication with patients and families. You will participate in ongoing competency training and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Florida RN license; current licensure and required certifications.
• Completion of general and nursing orientation.
• Unit orientation and unit-specific competency checklist completed.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Annual competency-based learning modules.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and monitor ongoing status.
• Assess patient/family learning needs and provide education.
• Document assessment data on admission and throughout stay.
• Plan and coordinate care based on assessments and identified needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Initiate and verify physician orders; exercise nursing judgment.
• Advocate for patients and provide compassionate care.
• Contribute to a safe environment and participate in quality initiatives.
• Administer medications according to established policies.
