Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an Experienced RN for Nights in the Special Care Nursery. This 18-bed Level IIB unit delivers care to newborns greater than 32 weeks gestation, with a multidisciplinary team and family-centered approach.

Shift: Nights, 12 hours. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process and delivering comprehensive nursing care, while collaborating with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program; ADN or nursing diploma with BSN enrollment encouraged.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Twelve months of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise total nursing care using the nursing process.
• Plan and deliver care for patients and families in a patient-centered setting.
• Participate in the clinical ladder program and education activities.
