Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, is seeking an experienced RN for night shift coverage. The 7pm to 7:30am schedule includes shift differentials and a commitment to compassionate care across orthopedics and surgical units.

Eligible nurses may access relocation assistance and loan forgiveness programs. Required BSN and NC RN licensure, with at least 12 months of relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• NC RN licensure and active status.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Deliver nursing services to patients and families per RN scope.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other staff as assigned.
• Monitor environment and equipment for safety and quality care.
• Support professional development and training of staff and learners.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
