Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join its 41-bed unit, combining Medical-Surgical and Observation care. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and educate families while advancing professional skills within a renowned healthcare system.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, coordinating discharges, and adhering to strict safety and clinical protocols during night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduates of accredited nursing programs (ADN/BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience acceptable).
• Preferred: BSN degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise care plans to meet goals.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with relevant materials.
