Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System’s South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights as an RN on the Med/Surg & Observation Unit. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans and support patients from admission through discharge in a high-quality, patient-centered environment.

The role offers a night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with every other weekend/holiday rotation. Required: RN licensure, BLS, ADN/BSN, and 1 year of acute care experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold RN licensure.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with culturally appropriate materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol.
