Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s South Pointe Hospital is seeking an RN for its 7th Floor Med/Surg and Observation Unit. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ADN/BSN, Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of acute care RN experience, with day/night rotations and weekend/holiday requirements. Relocation and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN license in Ohio.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
