Job summary

Banner Health in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery on a full-time NIGHT shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). The unit handles approximately 320 deliveries per month in a Level II environment with Magnet designation and strong shared leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical and emotional needs and plan ongoing care.
• Implement and coordinate the nursing plan of care with the care team.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Provide patient and family teaching and discharge planning.
• Promote quality and safety in patient care and participate in unit leadership.
