Job summary

Banner Health in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking an experienced RN for the Level II/IIIa Special Care Nursery. You will care for neonates needing NICU support, with opportunities to participate in unit expansion planning as the NICU develops toward level IIIA.

Prior NICU experience is required for this full-time night shift. You’ll work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with an 18% night differential and a weekend differential of $3/hour.

Qualifications

• Requires current RN license in the state of practice.
• NICU experience is required for this role.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in self-scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care for neonates.
• Implement and adjust the plan of care per physician orders and policies.
• Document and communicate patient status to the care team and families.
• Provide education and support to families and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
