Job summary

TriHealth's Bethesda North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit/Clinical Decision Unit. You will deliver patient-centered care for adults requiring short-term monitoring, applying the nursing process and collaborating with providers to navigate fast-paced decisions.

The CDU is a 35-bed unit with structured orientation, NIHSS/ACLS/BLS training, ECG/telemetry skills, and supportive shadowing. Night shifts, sign-on bonus, and rotations support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Experience in CDU/observation or acute care preferred.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the Observation Unit/ CDU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with providers and guide patients and families through rapid clinical decisions.
• Monitor patient flow, safety and outcomes; participate in teamwork and handoffs.
