Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4100 Telemetry Unit at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. This full-time night shift position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a pathway to advance in a high-acuity telemetry setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing care, patient assessment, and coordination with physicians and team members to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• New hires must have an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various life stages.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family.
• Documents ongoing assessment per TriHealth guidelines.
• Communicates assessment findings to other health care providers.
• Plans care for patient and family based on assessment and standards of care.
• Initiates and individualizes appropriate patient care guidelines/plan of care or clinical pathways.
• Updates current plan of care as needed based on patient input and healthcare needs.
• Provides a safe, therapeutic environment, maintains patient’s autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Trains/educates other staff and acts as an expert resource in specialty area.
• Safely administers medications/treatments and monitors their effects.
• Collaborates with the patient/family and with other members of the health care team to revise plan of care as needed.
