Job summary

TriHealth is hiring a Charge Nurse for the Observation Unit/Clinical Decision Unit at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. This part-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and incentive pay options.

As an RN in CDU/Observation, you will lead patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safety and timely decision-making. BSN within 5 years is preferred; licensure and BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• BSN within 5 years or enrollment acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments per TriHealth standards.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care with short- and long-term goals.
• Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care while protecting autonomy and dignity.
• Recognize and respond to emergency or rapidly evolving clinical situations.
• Complete all assigned patient care and documentation within scheduled timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a resource to staff and support clinical learning.
