Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit-4P1-Acute Care Medicine in Phoenix, AZ. The RN assesses, plans, and delivers patient care, following ANA standards and professional guidelines, while coordinating with physicians and the care team.

The role requires a nursing license in Arizona, BLS certification, and relevant med-surg experience. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ADN hires must complete BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data and analyze to develop an appropriate, family-centered plan of care.
• Develop plans of care individualized to patient condition and current nursing practice.
• Initiate treatments and medications per standing orders and policies.
• Document observations and nursing interventions for ongoing patient care.
• Evaluate progress and effectiveness of the care plan to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and self-management.
• Precept new hires and students to support competency development.
