Candidate must graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, hold BLS and ACLS, obtain NRP/PALS within a year, be licensed by the Texas Medical Board, and be NBRC registered with at least 6 months of experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 1 year of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with the NBRC.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Aufgaben

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen, aerosol therapy, and ventilator support.
• Conducts ABG, airway maintenance, chest physiotherapy, and related assessments.
• Interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data to guide patient care.
• Maintains and troubleshoots respiratory equipment and devices.
• Supports infection control, safety, and quality assurance activities.
