Job summary

Celgard, LLC, a leader in membrane battery separators, seeks a Quality Control Technician for a 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am). You will perform physical and chemical QC tests, maintain calibration of lab equipment, and prepare Certificates of Analysis for shipments.

You will document results, support ISO 9000 / TS16949 efforts, and contribute to ongoing quality improvements while ensuring a safe, clean lab environment and effective cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment or related Celgard operations experience preferred
• Experience performing chemical and physical testing for product release preferred
• Proficient with documentation of test results and data records
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 / TS16949 initiatives and environmental system requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and non-routine QC tests including physical and chemical testing
• Maintain calibration status of equipment
• Prepare and verify data certificates for product shipments (COA)
• Maintain QC documents and forms; ensure traceability and accuracy
• Train others on lab procedures and act as a liaison with cross-functional teams
• Support continuous improvement using KPI data and Lean principles
• Uphold safety and environmental standards and keep the lab tour-ready
