Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Charlotte, NC, part of the Asahi Kasei Group, seeks a QC Lab Tech to join the Quality team on the night shift (6:00 pm–6:00 am, 2-2-3 schedule). You will perform chemical and physical tests to support resin separator production for lithium-ion batteries.

Responsibilities include maintaining calibration, preparing COA data, and ensuring lab documentation accuracy, while collaborating across functions to drive quality improvements and safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience or Celgard operations exposure.
• Experience in polymer resin environment is a plus.
• Experience documenting test results is required.
• ISO 9000 / TS16949 familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and non-routine QC tests (physical and chemical).
• Maintain calibration status of equipment.
• Prepare data certificates for product shipments (COA).
• Maintain QC document control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead meetings.
