Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join the manufacturing lab, performing QC tests and maintaining lab safety.

The role supports automotive and energy storage product requirements, with emphasis on data accuracy, calibration, and cross-functional teamwork.

Must have a high school diploma and hands-on lab experience; night shift hours are 6pm-6am; opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, ISO-certified environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on experience in a laboratory environment or operations experience required
• ISO 9001/TS16949 experience a plus
• Experience documenting test results/observations required
• Experience with polymer resins or materials testing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and/or non-routine QC tests including physical and chemical testing
• Maintain calibration status of equipment
• Maintain accurate records of data and observations (paper and electronic records)
• Prepare and verify accuracy of data certificates for product shipments (COA). Maintain QC document control
• Collaborate with team members; participate in cross-functional teams; lead meetings
• Utilize KPI’s to gauge performance and drive corrective actions
• Work in a high performance team environment and support continuous improvement
