RRC Solutions Group seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the Roanoke area (VA). The role leads QA staff on the production floor and in the lab to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will coach the team, review testing results, support audits, and drive process improvements. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent in biology/chemistry/food science or related field, 1–3 years in QA/manufacturing, and the ability to work the stated overnight schedule

Qualificações

• Bachelor? No, associate degree required or equivalent; background in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in QA/manufacturing.
• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of food industry practices.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, organization, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to work the stated overnight schedule, with flexibility for extra coverage.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Lead QA personnel on the production floor and in the laboratory.
• Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Production to address quality concerns and maintain food safety standards.
• Oversee QA programs, documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Support regulatory, certification, customer, and product specifications compliance.
• Review laboratory results, investigate exceptions, identify unfavorable trends.
• Recommend process improvements based on testing data and quality performance.
• Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits and inspections.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen product quality and customer satisfaction.
